3M 5702 Vinyl tape

Unlike non-stick warning or barrier tape, 3M™5702 safety tape has a layer of rubber adhesive that quickly adheres to a wide variety of different surfaces and can be removed just as quickly and easily, leaving no residue or mess. The tape adapts to corners, arches and uneven surfaces, and is flexible and resistant to abrasion. Quality is made for long-lasting use. 3M™ 5702 Safety Stripe Tape has a vinyl backing with a pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive. The tape is 0.14 mm thick, has a tensile strength of 260 N/100 mm and an elongation at a break of 170%. We know that durability is paramount in the workplace, so we designed 3M™ 5702 Safety Stripe Tape to withstand the most common solvents, including acids and alkaline chemicals. It will mark lanes, risks and safety areas. Our vinyl tapes are excellent for many universal uses, for example for safety marking, colour differentiation, abrasion protection, covering, sealing or joining. If the vinyl tape is used to mark the track instead of paint, this eliminates the need to vent the solvents contained in the colour. Since vinyl tapes can be removed quickly and cleanly, they are also a faster, more versatile and, moreover, cheaper solution than paint.
