Double-sided tapes
Double-sided adhesive tapes are tapes whose construction is based on the so-called carrier - a certain type and thickness of material such as: PE/PP foam and on both sides it is anchored and coated with glue, a certain type of glue. With these types of construction, the thickness is usually from 0.5 mm to 6 mm.
In this category, we also divide thin tapes, the carrier of which is also made of PE/PE/PET but is not in the form of foam, compressible material, but they are carriers up to 0.5 mm thick - these are very thin versions of adhesive tapes. Their use is very wide and they are also used for gluing, laminating other flexible or rigid materials and subsequently they can be cut into the desired shapes.
Acrylic, or so-called VHB (Very High Bonding tapes_introduced by 3M as the patent holder for this type of tape) tapes are special acrylic "doughs" rolled to a certain thickness. It is a homogeneous acrylic mass, which gradually within 72 hours. it copies the unevenness, at the same time it sinks into the pores of the materials and thus creates an EXTREMELY STRONG, DURABLE and FLEXIBLE connection that perfectly resists weather conditions, temperatures and with its lifelong flexibility eliminates tension and dilatations between two different materials. VHB tapes are further divided into so-called CORE and SOLID acrylic foams.
